How Photography and Printing Have Evolved Over the Years
Portraying an image was always essential but the means of doing it was limited. The only way one could capture a moment was through paintings and sculptures. This procedure used to take days yet didn't showcase the true beauty of an object. Also, there was no true portrayal of an object as its interpretation depended on the artist drawing it.
Decades ago, people didn't have the idea that a thing called camera could even exist, and it would be possible to capture an image in just a few seconds. Who would have thought that a device as enriching as a camera could ever exist? But times have changed and these days a camera is not considered a novelty item anymore.
Why capturing pictures aren't the same anymore
Since photography was first established in the 19th century, it has undergone a radical change. You might have a nostalgic memory of analog cameras from your childhood, but they aren't used much anymore. Times have passed when you used to put a roll in your camera and wind it in the beginning to click images. This was an ongoing process which means that every time someone had to capture an image; they had to rewind their cameras all over again. But since digital cameras gained prominence, clicking a picture seems like a cakewalk. What's more, you don't need to develop pictures instantly to view them. You can just browse over in the camera to view it.
Why printing images seems a cakewalk now
Similarly for printing, whole new procedures have been introduced to make printing images even more convenient. Since the time the first printing press came into existence, the whole process of converting captured images in physical form has transformed in itself. Before digital cameras were first introduced to the common public, printing images was a hassle. People had to submit their camera in studios and wait for days or weeks to get their pictures developed. But now all you need is a computer and a printer to do so. Digital printing has grown immensely popular due to its convenience and viability.
Are frames really in demand?
People didn't take frames seriously a few years ago. People considered it an unnecessary expense that could only be used as a way to bind pictures. But such scenarios don't exist anymore. These days, frames are considered an art due to the fact that most people are taking a genuine interest in choosing the most appropriate ones. People are embracing the idea that these frames can serve as a great decorative item.
